RIP Hellcat Thomas “CHASE” Worden 1990-2010

They say that the time you spend with someone should always be appreciated. Thomas Worden or "Chase" as we knew him came to Hellcats, a former paintballer from the old SI scene, rehabilitated from a rough teenage life infused in drugs and addiction. After returning from a rehab clinic he came to Hellcats looking for a structured environment to play a sport he loved to help keep him away from a potential relapse. In just a few misspent teenage years he had severely damaged his body on illegal substances but was hoping for a positive recovery.

Young and still very capable, he had every making of a great paintball athlete, fast, strong, killer instinct. From May 2009 to a few months ago, Chase had become a member of our competitive teams. He completed his Basic Player Certification in Nov. of 2009 and played an AZPPL event with us last year. He was a good friend, a kind person, always willing to help and do what he could. Due to his declining health, earlier this year he was forced to stop playing competitively. Last Saturday Chase passed away from health complications.

We have never had to bury one of our before, especially one so young. "What if" always comes to mind. He died too young. His testimony survives a message to those of you out there today, young and full of promise. Do not waste a good thing on something petty as substance abuse. Live life to your fullest. Appreciate what you have and enjoy your time here with others.

I recently picked up an E1 P90 for $30 and the only problem with it was that it needed a new hop-up. It was all most in brand new condition. I think it was a great find and i jumped on the deal.

What i am looking to gain with this project is a CQB replica that has a decent ROF (not amazing but decent). I dont want to spend too much money on this project so my budget limit is $150.

At the moment here is what i plan to do:
Shim the gearbox properly.
Use a 11.1V Lipo (even though im not a big fan of lipos)
Get a new motor (id appreciate suggestions on that)

…and thats about all i have at the moment…

Suggestions for more stuff i can do to achieve my goal will be very helpful. Thank you all.

Rumor has it that someone has opened it for airsoft but i am not sure how true this story is. When i was here to take these pics i could see that it was being used for paintball. The place is massive and full of great places to hide. Also the old Ard Ri Hotel across the river in Waterford city would be another great place to have airsoft.

Where should I play September 23rd

My dad is visiting me from Oklahoma, and I wanted to take him out to play paintball while he was here. While he comes from the home of one of the largest recball events (D-Day) every time we’ve played its been at a pseudo-recball fields, very similar to Wild Planet. I haven’t played out here in AZ in over a year, so to be honest I have no idea what’s even going on here in AZ, I just found out today that 23 bps was closed. Does Wild Planet still regularly have good weekends? I really want this to be a great experience for my dad and any help with where I should play would be appreciated. I don’t play on any indoor fields period. I live in Mesa, but I am willing to go fairly far if it’s worth it

Is Teching your own gun worth it?

Me and my friends have been wondering if we should risk working on our own guns. Obviously research how to do your project first, but is it worth the risk to do it yourself?

We all know we could do it if we had good instructions online or something, and we would know more about our guns, and what was done to them specifically.

On the other hand, a shop knows exactly what their doing, but they charge, and the internet information is free.

Opinions?

Sorry, I forgot to put this in the other thread but here goes. Selling my E1 P90 as it isnt working and I dont have time for it. The only thing wrong with it is that its missing the tappet plate, other than that it works. Single shot is not working however, but full auto works fine. Comes with the gun, one hicap, two lowcaps, an NC-Star red dot and what was a KWA M4 barrel than was professionally cut down and recrowned. Stock barrel will be included as well. Asking $60 plus shipping.
Trade wise, I’m only interested in sights, i.e. ACOG(preferable) or EOTECH.

Lost/Stolen RL Shocker from APD

It has been awhile and I haven’t posted anything about it. I brought a silver Russian Legion Shocker to APD on Bell over a year ago to get general service. I left the gun there for awhile and when I went to pick it up it was gone. I guess they have a policy that if you leave your gun there for too long it becomes their property. When I asked about it they said they never sold it so someone came and claimed the gun. I am getting back into playing and I really wanna try and track that down.

Any info would be a great help and I would be willing to pay if anyone can turn it up. I should have done this a lot earlier but at the time I was injured and couldn’t play and had no motivation. I am out a lot of money on a gun I really loved to shoot. I know it sounds retarded to do this now but better late than never.

Just wondering if the grenade launcher is a good noob weapon it seems like it would be, but I cant seem to get the concept into my head about how an airsoft grenade works. Is it just like a real grenade launcher with the firing the shell and then releasing the BBs? or is it more of a shot gun affect?

any one ever seen an airsoft rattifica one of those wierd suckers that has that tripple burst
its a small hand gun with a small three finger handle for a second hand
you can find it on MW2 and a few movies but i have yet to know if its actually a real weapon much less an airsoft weapon
if you know where to get it or at least what im talking about then please respond ive been searching for days and its just one of those small things that starts to drive you nuts XD

oh yes the day i got hooked
i had just bought my first gun it was one of those big pistols that you have to pull on the slide every time
but she was weighted and beautiful
i bought it mostly because my niegbor just got an m16 cheap and electric, but they wanted a little war so his friend and his brother got out their guns just another simple electric automatic and a shotgun
so i went and bought my gun returned happy to see that they where still going at it. so i asked to join in and they agreed so i simply hopped behind a tree and waited for the restarted match to start and they all decided to gange up on me for fun but for some reason they couldnt hit the broad side of a barn and i simply peeked out looked down the sights lined it up and got three head shots in a row i died laughing XD and was soon there after pelted by their fire but i didnt care it was funny and glorious and i cant wait to do it again
